Suggested Enhancement

We have recently had a request to allow two years of budgeting for Insight from a client who currently has an examiner onsite. Keep in mind we have the 5-yr budget which does not go into detail for loan and share distribution and rate but works very well for longer term forecasting and budgeting. I'd like to know if this would be useful to you as an Insight user.

Welcome our Insight Blog

Aho Consulting will post to this blog suggestions to help you better use Insight Planning Software. We would also like to hear from you, the user. Please ask us questions, give us your comments or just to read up on what others are saying. Suggestions for Insight enhancements are always appreciated. By sharing those ideas not just with us but with the Insight community as a whole, might spur ideas from others.

You may have noticed that we are now releasing quarterly ratio updates instead of semi-annually and those updates will be much timelier. You will have ratio updates within about 6 weeks of the call report due date (when NCUA releases the FOIA data).

We would also like to tell you about the enhancements for 2010 that are being worked on right now.

1) The data entry sheet will be completely rebuilt to fall more in line with NCUA’s call report information.

2) Insight’s data will be extractable and uploadable into NCUA’s new online call report program. So for those of you who have mapped your GL to be uploaded into Insight, will be able then to proof the information and then upload into NCUA's 5300 online program. Not all fields will be updated, but a good portion of the income and financial statement will be updated, giving you a good start to completing your 5300 report.

We believe our software is unique, and valuable in helping credit unions to plan strategically for their future. This is the same software that we use with our Strategic Planning clients. When we see a need in our own practice we incorporate into Insight for you!
